Project 17: The user's point of view

This image show the interior of a hide at a wild bird sanctuary. The room is mostly dark with the light coming from the row of viewing windows. The bank of seating is the only feature in the room and the whole focus of the building design is to enable people to sit and quietly look outwards.

The Eurostar departure lounge at St Pancras. I leaned right down to seating level to take this shot. It helps to show how busy and cluttered the area can get. Although the lighting is bright with plenty of signs the space feels cluttered with the zig-zag seating and paraphernalia. No matter how big an airport lounge they always feel too small to me and I tried to capture this feeling.
